Charles Michael Eber, 58, of Olde Canterbury Road, Northwood, NH, passed away on Saturday, August 3, 2013, at the Speare Memorial Hospital in Plymouth, NH. Chuck Eber was a 1972 graduate of Ridgefield High School.
Charles was born on Sept. 12, 1954 in Williston Park, NY. He was the son of Joseph and Irene (Hyer) Eber. Charles was a contractor by trade but had an entrepreneurial spirit which allowed his many skills to flourish as a salesman, restaurant owner and retail owner among many other projects and hobbies. He was a generous man who loved the ocean, fishing, camping, and nature. Charles was also a member of the Concord/Epsom Elks Lodge 1210.
Charles is survived by his wife, Allison Kelley of Northwood, NH; his sons, Mark Eber of Center Barnstead, NH, and Wesley Chalifoux of Northwood, NH; his daughters, Danielle Thielman of Port Saint Lucie, FL, Amy Burdick of Penacook, NH, Hannah Burdick and Jennifer Kantz of Boscawen, NH; his grandchildren, Caroline Eber and Chandler Tucker; his ex-wife, Ellen Ellul; his siblings, Joseph Eber, Robert Eber, Irene Klein, Patricia Dyke, Ruth Schreiber, and Dorothy Jones; many nieces, nephews and friends; and his beloved dog, Joey.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Charles’ name to: Concord/Epsom Elks Lodge 1210, 24 Old Mill Rd; Epsom, NH, 03234-4316.
A Catholic mass and reception will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 9, 2013, at St. Joseph’s Church, 844 First NH Turnpike, Northwood, NH with Father John Loughnane, officiating.
