Art & Intrigue @ the Library Thursday

We're obsessed with art this Thursday @ the Library. At 11:15 AM the Murder by the Book mystery group will discuss Iain Pear's "The Raphael Affair," about the discovery of a lost painting by the Renaissance painter (or is it?).  At 3 PM the Founders Hall discussion group will tackle B.A. Shapiro's "The Art Forger" - more skulduggery in the art world, this time centered on Degas.  And at 7 PM that evening, author Shapiro will be at the Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum to discuss her book, which is inspired by the notorious 1990 theft from Boston's Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum.  So if you love art, intrigue or philosophical discourse on beauty and authenticity, join us at any or all of these events.
