Kids Afternoon at the Movies at the Brookfield Library: Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs 2 Enjoy a free moviewith your kids at the Brookfield Library! The Fairfield County Children's Choir presents: Spotlight: Broadway! The Fairfield County Children's Choir will present Spotlight: Broadway! -- its 19th annual Broadway themed concert at the Klein Memorial Auditorium in Bridgeport.  Your kids will love this fun show and might even be inspired to join the choir themselves!

Take Your Child to the Library Day at the Fairfield Public Library - Woods Branch: Celebrates the young child's visit to their Library! We will have a family story time at 11AM and a craft table open all day. Bring your library card, or sign up for a new one, for a chance to win a special prize pack!

Owl Talk and Walk at Bruce Museum. RSVP required. Enjoy indoor/outdoor explorations at Audubon Greenwich, 613 Riversville Road, to learn all about birds of night - the owls. Super fun activities are suitable for ages 5 years and up.

Lost Egypt: Ancient Secrets, Modern Science at the Connecticut Science Center! You and your kids will journey thousands of years back in time to ancient Egypt! You'll see real mummies and ancient artifacts, dig for clues, build a pyramid, read ancient hieroglyphics and more - all at the CT Science Center!

Family FUN at the Edith Wheeler Memorial Library for Take Your Child To The Library Day! Take Your Child to the Library Day is back! NCTC Presents A Year With Frog and Toad: Arnold Lobel's well-loved characters hop from the page to the stage in Robert and Willie Reale's Tony-nominated musical. Your kids will have fun seeing Frog and Toad at the Northeast Children's Theatre Company!

Backyard Birding at Connecticut Audubon Society Center at Fairfield. Join long-time birder and naturalist Richard Worth who will teach you how to identify Connecticut’s birds by sight and sound. You’ll also learn who is at the feeder at this time of year, their feeding habits, and their characteristics!

See Professor Diggins Jurassic Journey! by Caravan Puppets at the Danbury Library on Take Your Child To the Library Day! Celebrate Take Your Child to the Library Day by coming to Danbury Junior Library to see Professor Diggins Jurassic Journey! Caravan Puppets will entertain and delight with original songs, dino puppets and fast paced story. Registration is required.

Tons of Fun at the Brookfield Library During National Take Your Child To the Library Day! You and your kids will have a day's worth of fun at the Brookfield Library at our 3rd Annual Take Your Child To the Library Day! Folks who sign up for new library cards will get an extra guess in the PomPom in a Jar contest!

First Sunday Science at the Seaside Center: Oyster Fishing Family Day at Bruce Museum. Learn about the habitat and natural history of the oyster with in-depth explorations at the Seaside Center. Take a close up look at this amazing bivalve! All activities are free and suitable for people of all ages and abilities.

Groundhog Day at INM at Imagine Nation Museum. Will the groundhog see his shadow? Find out at this fun event at Imagine Nation!

Free First Sunday at the New Haven Museum: There's no admission at the New Haven Museum on the first Sunday of each month! It's the perfect day to bring your self-proclaimed museum haters to see what they've been missing!

1st Sunday Bird Walks with Greenwich Audubon at Greenwich Point Park: Morning bird walks on the first Sunday of every month at Greenwich Point Park are becoming a local birding tradition. WILDLIFE IN WINTER  at Greenburgh Nature Center. Come for an hour of fun as a naturalist shows off some of our favorite animals. This entertaining and informative program allows visitors to hear, see, and touch many of our fascinating furry, feathered, and scaly friends. Best for ages 5 and over.

Explore the Orchestra Programs for Children ages 4-7 at the Stamford Symphony. Each 45 minute long program is an enriching, fun-filled experience designed for children, 4-7 years old, to investigate and learn about instrument families and experience the joys of music!

CT Chowdafest (benefiting the CT Food Bank): If you've never experienced Chowdafest, you're missing out! Bring the kids, they'll love Chowdafest. Why? Well, their vote counts, too! Kids get FREE temporary tattoos, chef hats they can decorate and stickers. Benefits the CT Food Bank!
