Wine Lingo — How to Read and Write Professional Tasting Notes. We’ve all seen the glamorous tasting notes riddled of by wine critics like Wine Advocate and Wine Spectator. These texts are sometimes contrived, overly ornate, and often don’t tell you exactly what you’d like to know. Well, we’re going to try and walk you through the art of the tasting note—how to read it, how to write it, and hopefully give you some idea what the wine in the bottle is going to taste like. It shouldn’t be a total guessing game. This educational event/tasting will help you hedge your bets. This is a free event. To RSVP please call (203)544-8958 or e-mail monica@anconaswines.com.
