One Year Later... The Newtown & South Salem Communities Join to Share, Remember and Heal

Program Hosts:  Leslie Gottlieb, JFC Religious School & Carol Wakeman, JFC staff and Newtown resident


The JFC-South Salem communities, sponsored by the Religious School, will host a program with speakers,clergy, and organizations from JFC and Newtown, CT who will share ways to honor the memory of loved ones. The program will emphasize healing-- and ways to move forward through tragedy. Tickets are required but there is no fee and they are moving quickly, so please do not delay if you are interested. This event is designed for those in grade 7- adults.  Limited seating is available.  Tickets for all JFC 7th Graders have been reserved in advance, and dinner will be served for these students. Some speakers include: Rabbi Burstein and Cantor Kerry Ben David, JFC, South Salem, NY; Pastor Matt Crebbins, Congregational Church, Newtown, CT; Rabbi Shaul Praver, Adath Israel, Newtown, CT; Heather and Elyse Sherr, Grade 7 students at JFC; Members of the Newtown Youth Voices Choir; Rona Salpeter, JFC teacher and co-worker of Sandy Hook teacher; NAA- Newtown Action Alliance; and JAA- Newtown Junior Action Alliance. Performance by Polly and Rayn Schnell,
