Enjoy Cocktails, Music and Dinner in the Twilight in a beautiful meadow setting while supporting the RABC scholars. The well-known Jazz trumpeter, Marvin Stamm and the Marvin Stamm Quartet will entertain. Bernards of Ridgefield is the caterer. In addition, a Live and Silent Auction is held throughout the evening.
Ridgefield A Better Chance is a non-profit organization whose mission is to find talented and motivated minority female high school students from disadvantaged communities and provide them with an outstanding education and offer them a "better chance". Founded in 1987, RABC has been a home-away-from home to 8 female scholars. To date, 42 scholars have graduated from Ridgefield High School, all of whom have earned or are working on undergraduate and graduate degrees. During their four years in Ridgefield, the scholars participate fully in the academic and extra-curricular activities at RHS as well as give back to the community through volunteer service.
