Wilton Parrot Rescue Visits

Wilton Parrot Rescue, A Volunteer Run Rescue to be at Village Critter Outfitter on February 23rd

New Canaan, CT, February 14th, 2013 – Village Critter Outfitter is hosting an adoption event this week at its store geared to anyone that is looking to adopt a companion parrot or learn about how parrots are trained and placed in new homes.  On Saturday February 23rd, Wilton Parrot Rescue will be visiting.


Wilton Parrot Rescue is a small home-based rescue in Wilton, Connecticut, USA.


Their goal is to find permanent loving homes for surrendered and rescued companion parrots. Wilton Parrot Rescue was founded in January 2010 and is an entirely volunteer-run and donation-dependent organization.

“We welcome Wilton Parrot Rescue for a chance to make a difference in finding abandoned parrots a new home”, explained Shirleen Dubuque, owner of Village Critter Outfitter. “These rescued Parrots are truly unique and would make a great companion animal in the right household; we truly appreciate everything Wilton Parrot Rescue is doing to help these charming birds”.
