Voices Cafe & Gun Control Rally

You can send a 9th grade Bridgeport Social Studies class to Hartford on February 14 to rally for gun control!

Voices Café is Fairfield County’s newest folk-pop music venue.  We support our community, the folk music movement, and the many voices for social justice.

In that spirit the funds that we raise at the February 9 Voices Cafe will be used to rent a bus so that a 9th grade Bridgeport social studies class studying gun violence and what to do about it can go to the March for Change rally for gun control in Hartford on February 14.

Carolann Solebello and The YaYas Double Bill in Westport

Singer-songwriter Carolann Solebello and trio The YaYas will team up in Westport on February 9th for an evening of urban Americana and smart, melodic folk-pop.  Both acts, though nodding to traditional folk music, bring a decidedly contemporary outlook – and a gently theatrical flair – to songwriting and performance.
