The Laramie Project, created by Moises Kaufman and his Tectonic Theater company centers on the aftermath of the brutal beating and death of Matthew Shepard, an openly gay University of Wyoming student in 1998.  Produced by the Ridgefield High School Department of Visual and Performing Arts and directed by RHS drama teacher Sherry Cox, this powerful play sends a message of hope, tolerance and acceptance.  


Performances take place on Thursday, January 31st, Friday February 1st, Saturday, February 2nd, Thursday, February 7th and Friday February 8th.   The snow date is Sunday, February 10th. All performances are in the Black Box Theater at RHS. Tickets are $10 and are sold at the door.


PLEASE NOTE:  This show is for mature audiences only.  It includes adult language and themes. Parental discretion is advised.
