Still Life With Iris

The Ridgefield High School Department of Visual and Performing Arts presents "Still Life With Iris," a fantasy-adventure-drama with a touch of comedy by Steven Dietz.


"Still Life With Iris" is the story of Iris, a 10-year-old girl who lives in the fantastical world of Nocturno where the inhabitants create all the earth's wonders at night--even painting the spots on ladybugs!  When the rulers of Nocturno, the Great Goods, who seek perfection in everything, choose Iris to be their ideal daughter, she must give up her "Pastcoat" where her memories are kept.  A single button is her only clue in her struggle to find her way back home.
