Barbershop Quartet to Perform at Keeler Tavern Museum
Join us in the Garden House at the Keeler Tavern Museum, 132 Main Street, Ridgefield for songs and a brief history of Barbershop Quartets. Members of Rare Occasion: Jim Hopper, Terry Dunkle, Robert Golenbock and Fred Baran will perform on Sunday, November 11th at 4:00 PM.
Barbershop Quartets harmonize four men’s voices with the lead singer providing the melody. The groups perform without accompaniment. While Barbershop Quartets were most popular from the mid 19th century through the 1920’s, they are still a joy to listen to. Come and experience this delightful performance.
