The Ridgefield Guild of Artists celebrates the artistic talent of member artists with our annual Juried Member show. This exhibit gives member artists an opportunity to have their work viewed by Ms. Hardesty. She will select approximately 50 works to be in the exhibition. All media is welcome. She will also award 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners. We encourage all members to participate.

We are pleased to have Susan Hardesty as our juror for this year’s Annual Juried Member Show. Ms. Hardesty is the Director of Norwalk Community College’s Art Galleries and Art Collection. The art galleries and collection use artworks as an everyday part of the educational environment, a teaching tool for art related courses and a means to create a visually stimulating environment. The art galleries focus on exhibiting regional and nationally recognized artists and feature approximately five exhibitions per year on local organizations and issues. The NCC art collection is housed throughout the NCC campus. More than 600 national and internationally known artists can be seen in classrooms, corridors, offices and community spaces throughout campus. The collection focuses on contemporary art which has been acquired primarily through generous donations and annual allocations from the college.
