EXTREME FITNESS MARTIAL ARTS TO HOLD

FREE KID’S SAFETY SEMINAR

Not being able to protect his or her children is every parent’s worst nightmare.  Whether it concerns being abducted by a stranger, being bullied at school or being trapped in a fire, the fear that children will not be able to act correctly in a dangerous situation can be overwhelming.

That’s why Extreme Fitness Martial Arts is offering a free safety seminar for all children and their parents to attend and learn how to mitigate the risks of these events taking place.

“As a father and martial arts instructor, my role is to ensure that my children and students are able to defend themselves in any situation,” said Master Russ Moore, school owner.  “This free seminar is open to the public because the topics of Stranger Danger, Anti-Bullying and Fire Safety are important to all parents.  As we enter the autumn with sporting events, trick-or-treating and fireplaces, it’s even more timely to teach our children how to protect themselves should anything bad happen.”

The Newtown Police Department and Botsford Fire Rescue will also be presenting at the seminar, which will take place on Saturday, October 13 from 2:00pm – 3:30pm at Extreme Fitness Martial Arts, 266 South Main Street, Newtown, CT.
