Copperhead Advanced Screening and Red Carpet Reception

Be the first to see Ron Maxwell's new Civil War movie, Copperhead.  The New Canaan Historical Society presents a special advanced screening on Wednesday, May 1 at the New Canaan Playhouse, giving history buffs an early opportunity to learn a regional and intimate story from the Civil War era.  The movie screening benefit begins at 6:30pm where Director Maxwell will introduce the movie.  From 8:30 - 10:30pm the audience is invited to a private red carpet celebration at Le Pain Quotidien, located just steps away from the theatre at 81 Elm Street.  Space is limited.  To purchase tickets visit www.nchistory.org or come to the Historical Society at 13 Oenoke Ridge in New Canaan.
