Our Communitywide Healing Service will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2012. Elaine Winward, member of the Prayer and Healing Ministry, will be speaking at this month's Healing Service. Pastor Debbi Mygatt will lead the service.
Our healing services are held each month on the last Saturday at 10:00 am. Come join us for a special time of prayer, praise, music, testimonies, communion, and wonderful guest speakers. At the close of this service, our prayer teams are available at stations around the sanctuary to pray for your concerns.
Because we believe in Christ's love and power, we pray using Christian prayer. We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, that He came to earth to bring the Good News of forgiveness and healing, and that He heals today through the power of prayer.
We recognize that we cannot heal anyone, but believe that healing comes through God's Holy Spirit. We are not counselors, but we ask the Wonderful Counselor, Jesus, to do whatever needs to be done. We see physical, emotional and spiritual healing take place when we pray in Jesus name.
Our Ministry is ecumenical. Members of our prayer team come from different Christian denominations and backgrounds, as do those for whom we pray.
