Career coach Nancy Collamer will speak about her new book, Second-Act Careers: 50+ Ways to Profit From Your Passions During Semi-Retirement (Ten Speed Press) at an author's luncheon at Bernard's of Ridgefield on Thursday, January 31 from 12:00 - 2:00 pm. For many people, retirement is no longer a trifecta of golf, grandkids, and gardening— it’s an opportunity for new pursuits that involve both earning income and exploring personal passions. If you’re planning for retirement or already at “retirement age” but want to continue working—whether to supplement your income or to stay mentally and physically active—join veteran career coach Nancy Collamer for a lively discussion about ways to profit from your passions during semi-retirement. The cost of the three-course luncheon is $25 (plus tax, tip and beverage). Books will be available for sale at the event. RSVP to Bernard's at 203-438-8282. Bernard’s is located at 20 West Lane (Rt. 35) in Ridgefield, CT.
