Affordable Housing Panel - Sponsored by Ridgefield League of Women Voters

Affordable Housing Panel - The Ridgefield League of Women Voters will sponsor a forum to help educate townspeople on the topic of affordable housing. Please join us on Monday, March 11, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. in the lower level of Town Hall. This forum will not present a debate on the topic, but rather offer the shared expertise of experienced professionals. Panel speaker, Betty Brosius, Director of Planning for the Town of Ridgefield, will offer an overview of the categories within the framework of affordable housing, as well as report on the status of the moratorium application and its implications.   Dave Goldenberg, as a member of the Affordable Housing Committee, will cover the role of the Affordable Housing Committee in Ridgefield.  He will also share his knowledge concerning the best ways for the Town of Ridgefield to address the growing need of its population for housing that is affordable.  In addition to Mrs. Brosius and Mr. Goldenberg, Mr. Steve Zemo will offer his perspective from the point of view of a town resident and local developer. We look forward to a very informative evening on a timely topic. To reserve, please contact inforlwv@gmail.com.
