The Cancer Support Community of Southern Connecticut is delighted to be hosting our inaugural gala this year and we’d love to see you there. 



“A Celebration of Life and Hope” will be held on Thursday, November 8, 2012 at the The Waterview in Monroe, CT.  The evening will begin at 6 p.m. with a reception and silent auction, followed at 7 p.m. with presentations, dinner and a keynote address from Julia Sweeney (Saturday Night Live, Pulp Fiction, Sex & the City).  Other speakers will include Dr. Thomas Lynch (Yale Cancer Center), Governor Dannel Malloy (invited) and Senator Richard Blumenthal (invited).   The emcees are Gillian
Neff of News 12
and Morgan Amarone (Miss Connecticut 2011).

The bull market continues because our currency continues to be devalued by the Feds' printing press.Read More In 2006 dollars it has not increased value at all. In addition, revenues have increased (due to the above) but companies' earnings remain mostly flat. Three cheers for a stagnant economy? Households have lost approx. $4000 each in wealth over the last couple of years.
