Christmas
Luncheons at the Keeler Tavern Museum, 132 Main Street, Ridgefield have
become a Ridgefield holiday tradition. For more than four decades guests
have enjoyed a delightful lunch in the classically beautiful Garden
House overlooking the brick walled garden which still looks lovely in
any season especially when its pine trees and statuary are dusted with a
sprinkling of snow. Seasonal decorations and a warm glow from the
fireplace add to the special ambiance.
The luncheons are taking place from Tuesday, December 10 though Saturday, December 14. There are two seatings each day: 11:30 AM and 1:15 PM. The Luncheon cost is $25 per person. Contact the Museum office at keelertavernmuseum.org or call 203-438-5485
to make your prepaid reservations. There is still time to make a
reservation to enjoy a special meal in a lovely setting with friends and
family.
Be
sure to visit the Holiday Boutique in the Cass Gilbert Dining Room of
the Museum Building. There you will find many unique gifts for family,
friends, and to decorate your home. The Boutique will be open from 10:30 AM to 3:30 PM the days of the Luncheons. It will also be open Sunday, December 15 from 1 PM to 4 PM.
Tina
Sturges, Ridgefield artist, will have her paintings on display in the
Cass Gilbert Carriage Barn Gallery. They are there for you to enjoy and
perhaps become a gift for someone on your list.
