located in Redding, CT -DNKL(Do Ngak Kunphen Ling, The Tibetan
Universal Peace Buddhist Teaching Center, who recently co-hosted the Dalai
Lama’s visit to Connecticut, will host Children Day event under the spiritual
direction of Venerable Geshe Lobsang Dhargey. 
The Children Day activities will take place on Saturday, May 17 from 10:00
am-3:00 pm, on the former Maurice Pate Estate (first UNICEF Executive
Director), 30 Putnam Park Rd, Redding, CT. 



This event
is open to the public.  People of all
faiths are welcome to register for this event. 


This  event , includes songs,
games, art, short movie,

story telling, teachings and  guided
meditation on mindfulness. 

Topics include:  compassion,
generosity, self-discipline, patience, joyful effort, mindfulness and wisdom. 

Cost: $10 for 1st child $5 for each addt’l



Water will
be provided.  Please send your children
in with a lunch

(*Suggested ages are for 6years old and up, Parent supervision is required for
ages under 4years old.)



Maximum
occupancy 45 children.
