Where to Dine Out in Ridgefield on Thanksgiving

Statistics show that most people celebrate Thanksgiving at home, but a growing number of people opt to dine out instead. The National Restaurant Association estimated in 2011 that 14 million people chose to eat at a restaurant.

Ridgefield has several options if you want to avoid a long day in the kitchen. This is by no means a complete list, so please leave a comment if you know of any other eateries offering a Thanksgiving meal.

Bernard’s

The French restaurant is taking reservations for noon-7 p.m. for a Thanksgiving feast. Turkey with stuffing and gravy is available, as are several other entrees such as beef wellington and sautéed filet of red snapper. Adults pay $65 and children less than 12 years old are $30.

Stonehenge Restaurant

In addition to traditional roast turkey, the restaurant is offering several options on their Thanksgiving menu. Highlights include oven roasted salmon, over roasted rack of lamb and grilled hanger steak. The sausage chestnut stuffing sounds particularly good. 

Chinese Restaurants

There’s no shame in bucking the Thanksgiving tradition and indulging in Chinese food instead of the holiday staples. Chinese and other Asian restaurants are sometimes open on Thanksgiving. Check the Ridgefield Patch directory for some options, but call ahead to confirm if they're open.
