The has reportedly finalized its lease to temporarily occupy the former home of Balducci supermarket right nearby on Governor Street while is underway.
Library officials on Thursday confirmed that a lease had been signed, according to a report in the Ridgefield Press.
The library expects to move into the building — a Hay Day Market before it became a Balducci's — in three to four weeks, according to the report, citing statements made by library officials.
The library will remain in the temporary location for 16 to 18 months while the present facility at Main Street and Prospect Street is razed and is constructed.
