Man Arrested for Attempting to Break into Guilded Lynx

The Ridgefield man was held on a $25,000 bond and posted bail.

Ridgefield police arrested a Ridgefield man for allegedly attempting to break into the Guilded Lynx this past August.  

Police said they arrested Nicholas Hutton, 24, of Bailey Avenue, this past Wednesday after a traffic stop. A warrant for his arrest was issued for attempting to break into the Guilded Lynx’s back door on . At the time of the attempt, the Guilded Lynx’s owners were away on vacation.

Hutton was arrested on the charges of criminal attempt to commit a burglary and was held on a $25,000 bond, but was released  with a promise to appear in court after he used a bondsman to post bail, reports state.

Warrant issued in August, he lives on Bailey Avenue, and they just arrest him now on a traffic stop .... huh???

I can only hope there is something missing in the reporting and not the police work!

I happen to know the man and his family very well, I could only hope the correct justice is served and in this case I strongly feel that the police should look into the details of the case, past the surface picture rather than blame and profile someone based on their pure lack of information and effort. I'm not trying to be offensive but i feel there are missing pieces here.
