Updated: Phoebe Found

She was last seen on Abbott Avenue near St. Mary's Church in Ridgefield.

Updated:

Phoebe's family is thrilled to report she was found on Thursday.

First story:

A Ridgefield family is looking for your help.

Their dog, Phoebe, has been missing since Tuesday afternoon. She was last seen around 1 p.m. at the top of Abbott Avenue near St Mary's Roman Catholic Church.

The dog control officer has been notified and family and friends are out looking for her and putting up posters about her disappearance. Based on small dog prints her family saw early Wednesday morning, Phoebe may have been in the vicinity of High Ridge and Bryon Avenue.

She may be wary of other humans. If you have seen Phoebe, a grey cockapoo rescue dog, please call (718) 913-0850.

There is a great pet finding service: www.findtoto.com. Here you will upload Phoebe's picture, info, instructions (e.g. do not chase) and your contact number. Based on the radius you select, a "robo" call is sent out to homes within the radius stating "there is a dog lost in your area....please call _____ if sighted." We have heard of quite a few reunions using this service. ROAR has Phobe's description and will be in contact with Officer Coles if anyone contacts ROAR. Fingers crossed she is found soon.
