Max of 11 Percent in Ridgefield Without Power

12:15 am: As the storm subsists, six percent of citizens are without power. 

8:21: Outages just jumped up to 11 percent, with 1,224 people without power according to CL&P's outage map.

8:10 p.m: Channel 3 reports the tornado warning for Conn. has been cancelled. 

268 people (still 2 percent) without power in Ridgefield. 

7:50 p.m.: Two percent of Ridgefielders are without power according to CL&P

The Ridgefield press is reporting trees down near West Lane and Barry Avenue.

There is a severe thunderstorm warning in effect until tonight. This includes damaging winds and hail accompanying thunder and lightning.

Dogs may jump in bathtubs. Flashbacks of last year's storms Irene and Alfred may occur. Keep in touch with your neighbors in the comments below, and we'll update you as outages, road blocks, etc. happen (or hopefully do not happen).
