The Boys and Girls Club of Ridgefield held a penny wars fundraiser, encouraging kids to bring in change to help fund a conference trip for four members of the Keystone Club, a high school leadership and service group.
The deal was, if the fundraiser brought in $500 or more, the entire staff would take pies in the face.
It raised $502.
