WALTER A. WHITNEY JOINS FAIRFIELD COUNTY BANK AS VICE PRESIDENT, SENIOR COMMERCIAL LENDER

Fairfield County Bank is pleased to announce the recent appointment of Walter A. Whitney to the position of Vice President, Senior Commercial Lender.  Mr. Whitney has more than fifteen years of Commercial Lending experience and before joining Fairfield County Bank, held various senior management roles at local community banks.  As Vice President, Senior Commercial Lender Walter will be responsible for originating construction loans, commercial mortgages and lines of credit. 

He is a graduate of Boston University with a Bachelor of Science degree (B.S.) and received his Master of Business Administration degree (MBA) from Pace University’s Lubin School of Business.  Walter is a member of the American Bankers Association (ABA) and was elected to membership in Delta Mu Delta, an international honor society that recognizes excellence in business.  He currently serves as an Advisory Board Member of The Nature Conservancy and as President and Treasurer of the Washington Community Housing Trust, Inc.  

Walter resides in Washington, CT with his wife Kathy.
