Reiki Practitioner and Hypnotherapist Opens New Location in Ridgefield

Reiki master/practitioner and hypnotherapist Tesa Baum of Ridgefield is proud to be offering private sessions in a convenient new location at 158 Danbury Road in Ridgefield. Ms. Baum is passionate about helping clients feel their best and customizes her services for each client in order to do so.

“In hypnotherapy, you learn techniques that empower you. With Thanksgiving and the holiday season quickly approaching this is a great time to relax your mind and open up to positive suggestions. In this relaxed state, you learn how to implant deep within your subconscious mind specific positive, supportive, and uplifting ideas, beliefs, attitudes, feels, and images,” says Tesa.

“Hypnotherapy is a wonderful tool to use to relax the mind through guided imagery.  Your focus turns inward and you become extremely relaxed - physically, emotionally, and spiritually.  Hypnotherapy helps with life long phobias, addictions, sleep issues, and traumas.  It's wonderful for motivation and instills self-confidence.  It helps improve sports performance.  One sports psychologist for a U.S. Olympic team says that 80% - 90% of an Olympic athletes performance is in the mind.  Visualization and mental rehearsal is effective. By stating your goal and then seeing it through over and over again, you are affirming your own positive behavior. If you can think it, say it, you can do it,” she continues.

A 1984 Olympic Time magazine cover story Mary Lou Retton 16-women gymnastics gold medal winner had an established ritual every night.  She explained, " I see myself hitting all the routines, doing everything perfectly."  I imagine all the moves and go through them with the image in mind." 

Tesa's energy and hypnotherapy sessions are unique for each client.  She draws from her widespread experience and education to help her clients overcome blocks, find balance, and increase self-confidence. Her sessions are cathartic and help people create positive changes in their lives.
