Grand Prix New York Appoints Special Events Director

Grand Prix New York – the area’s leading indoor entertainment and team-building venue – proudly announces the appointment of Armonk resident Emily Schmalholz as Director of Special Events.   

Emily has been a New York based Event Planner for close to a decade, helping to launch Life of the Party Productions, a boutique event planning firm, in 2005, producing hundreds of successful events for clients throughout the tri-state area.  As co-owner of Life of the Party Productions, she specialized in bringing a creative and highly organized hands-on approach to Bar & Bat Mitzvahs, weddings, birthday celebrations, Sweet 16's and fundraising events.

Emily has worked with many of New York's premiere vendors ranging from world-class caterers and entertainment companies to event stylists that transform any occasion.  Prior to Life of the Party Productions, she wrote, directed and produced television specials for VH1, MTV and CBS.

Emily, her husband, Jay and their two sons, Justin, 13 and Jesse , 11, reside in Armonk.
