Bailey’s Backyard To Hold Farm-to-Table Dinner

Bailey’s Backyard is hosting a seven-course farm-to-table dinner on Tuesday, Nov. 5, that will celebrate local Connecticut ingredients and the farmers who provide them. The menu includes lamb and Berkshire pork from Greyledge Farm in Roxbury, beef from Ox Hollow Farm, also from Roxbury, and produce from Marble Valley Farms in Kent. Representatives from these local sources will be at the dinner to tell the story behind their products.

Bailey’s Backyard, located at 23 Bailey Ave., reinvented itself six months ago – from décor to menu, to its new C.I.A.-trained Executive Chef Forrest Pasternack, and to staff, including mixologist Bryan Walsh and his house-infused cocktails.

“Bailey's is a true American farm-to-table restaurant,” said owner Sal Bagliavio. “The dinner on Nov. 5 is a testament to the close relationships we have developed with farmers and the high quality of our restaurant’s food, which is handcrafted and prepared to order,” said owner Sal Bagliavio.
