Food Safety Tips To Share Your With Your Au Pair

An exciting year awaits with your new au pair.  Sharing cultures, customs and cuisines with your family.  Food preparation may differ from country to country.  Below are some simple tips to help your au pair cook and prepare food safely.

 Start a food preparation routine for your au pair.  If your au pair is not an experienced cook when she arrives, it's easy to instill some food safety routines for making infant formula, lunches for the children and other meals.

 Include food safety as something your au pair should teach your children. From safe food handling to clean work surfaces, have your au pair employ these techniques when she's baking or cooking with the children.

 Print some food safety pictures and put them on the refrigerator.  These can be used as references for meal planning and preparation.
