Newcomers Club of Ridgefield, along with local partners Lucy's and Shine Salon, is excited to announce its 4th annual fashion show and fundraiser titled, "Sharing is Chic: Hollywood Glamour" to be held at The Keeler Tavern Museum and Garden House on Thursday, June 7, 2012 from 7-10pm; doors open at 6:30pm.  "We are thrilled with how popular Sharing is Chic has become. The women dressed to the nines last year so we thought Hollywood Glamour would be a fitting theme for this year's show!" says Peggy Honoré, chairperson of the event.  Lisa Hemingray, owner of Lucy's adds, “The annual Sharing is Chic fashion show is not only a wonderful platform for Lucy's to show a sophisticated audience what we are all about, but also to broaden our clientele base - we have gotten so many new customers as a result of guests previeiwing what Lucy's carries at the fashion show!”  Erin Simmons, who has owned Shine Salon since 1997 explains, “We have fun contributing to Sharing is Chic but it’s really about supporting the community. RMAC is a great cause and we’re happy to be able to help.”

New this year: an orchestral trio from Ridgefield's very own and very talented Ridgefield Music and Arts Center (RMAC) will play during cocktail hour on the beautiful Keeler gardens to set the mood for the show.  During the show, don't be surprised to see some of your friends and neighbors parade down the catwalk as members of Newcomers model warm-weather fashions from Lucy's, with hair and makeup styles courtesy of Shine Salon.  Local businesses, Bailey’s Backyard and Cellar XV, will provide catering and beverages for the event.  Proceeds from the show will benefit RMAC.

Each previous year’s show has sold out, so get your tickets early for this one.  Ticket price includes a donation to RMAC, cocktails, light bites, and a gift bag.  Price is $35 per Newcomer, $40 per non-Newcomer, and also new this year: a limited number of VIP tickets for $50 - which includes premier seating, a special gift bag, 5 free door prize tickets, and special bar service directly to your seat!  Tickets will not be sold at the door, so get your tickets now.  Friends, fun, and fabulous fashions await – along with those great gift bags and door prizes!
