Nutmeg Drop-Off

Members of the 106th Nutmeg Festival will be on hand at St. Stephen’s to accept donations of items to be sold at the festival from parishioners and the community. This year's festival, one of the oldest church fairs in the state, takes place Saturday, Aug. 11, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The next and final drop-off date is July 28. A portion of Nutmeg proceeds goes to local charities.

The committee is looking for used, barely used and brand-new furniture, jewelry, books, kitchen utensils and other household goods, tools, electronic gear, children’s toys and games, as well as antiques and other treasures.  It cannot accept computer monitors, oversized furniture, humidifiers, air conditioners, plumbing fixtures, mattresses/box springs, exercise machines, home health equipment, encyclopedias, text books or dictionaries.  All donations are tax deductible.
