The Keeler Tavern Museum’s 15th Annual Antiques and Treasures Sale will be held in the Garden House and under tents on the Museum property. The dates and times for this free event are from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Friday and Saturday, August 3rd and 4th; and 12 noon - 5:00 PM on Sunday, August 5th. Early buying is available on Friday, August 6th from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM for a fee of $10 per person. Parking is available on the premises at no charge.
This event, a fund raiser for the Museum, will showcase a wide variety of period furnishings, decorative pieces, collectibles, and artwork from the 18th - 20th centuries in the Museum’s beautiful Garden House. The display will include furniture, oriental rugs, porcelains, china, glass, linens, silver, paintings, and vintage jewelry. After viewing the treasures indoors, visitors can stroll leisurely through the glorious flower filled garden and choose wrought iron furniture or other outdoor pieces for their own garden or porch. Then, they may continue on to the large tent to view the reasonably priced furniture suitable for apartments and dorm rooms. Next, after a short walk to the front lawn, they may enjoy the donation tent where can be found hundreds of small bargain items for sale. Finally, visitors should take time to relax at one of the shaded tables and chat with friends while enjoying a drink or a snack.
Please come and enjoy browsing among the Antiques & Treasures assembled at the Museum. You are certain to find just that item you have been looking for for your own home or for a friend’s. For additional information call the Museum Office at 203-438-5485, Monday-Friday 9 AM to 3 PM. Thank you to chairmen Phyllis and John Robertson, and Margo McEachern for putting together this spectacular event to benefit the Keeler Tavern Museum.
