Tell us a little about yourself:

I was born in Danbury at Danbury Hospital. I grew up in Brookfield and went through the school system there. I now go to school at Western Connecticut State University, where I am in the Justice and Law Administration program.

How did you begin your experience of studying Criminal Justice?                 

First I went to Norwalk Community College to study Criminal Justice. I completed my associates there. Then I went to Western Connecticut State University to study Justice and Law Administration. My focus is in Criminology.

How long have you lived in Ridgefield?

I’ve lived here for almost 15 years.

What is your best memory in Ridgefield?

Seeing the meteor shower with my son, Devin, when he was little! There were kids camped out on their front yards. We went to the fields behind the ice rink in town and when Devin looked up, he looked up with such awe in his eyes.

What is your favorite aspect of Ridgefield?

I really love the downtown area. It just feels like a really safe area. I like the events, there is always a lot going on.

What keeps you here?

We love the school that our son goes to. He goes to .

What do you do for fun in Ridgefield?

My son and I do a lot of hiking. We like to hike on the old rail trail behind the .

Do you volunteer?

I used to volunteer at the Women’s Center before I started working there. I work specifically in the women’s shelter now.
