Rec Center, Founders Hall Closed Tuesday Due to Water Main Break
Both facilities plan to reopen Wednesday.
The Ridgefield Recreation Center and Founders Hall are closed Tuesday due to a water main break on Route 35.
A water main rupture on Route 35 forced the community centers to shut their doors Tuesday, though both hope to reopen Wednesday morning.
A message on the Rec Center's website states that the facility was closed by order of the Fire Marshal but will be open as of 6 a.m. Wednesday.
Founders Hall Director of Communications Laurie Christiansen suggested residents check the their website Wednesday to confirm they are open before coming by.
