Photo Contest: Be An Olympian!

Take photos of you, your kids, your neighbors, your friends doing something Olympian — diving, swimming, kayaking, gymnastics — and you could win a prize!

Patch wants to celebrate the summer Olympics, and all the games that go with it!

To do that, we're inviting you to share your favorite photo of you (or your kids, your friends, your neighbors, heck, even your pets!) participating in a sport that is part of the Summer Olympics.

So whether it’s sailing or fencing, swimming or gymnastics, archery or kayaking (or any of the 26 sports in the games) — please share your photo! You can post a photo to this article until 5 p.m., July 29.

Patch editors will choose our 10 favorites, and then you, the reader, can vote for the winner in the comments section of an article that will be posted on July 31. Voting will remain open until 5 p.m. on Aug. 5, and the winner will be announced on Aug. 6. The winner will receive a $50 gift card or prize package of equal or greater value.
