"We had to jewel up the chair" said Guilded Lynx Owner Lesley Burke as she and shop Manager Melissa Russell dropped off their decorated chair at the Ridgefield Chamber of Commerce.
They decorated the chair with French glass mosaic tiles and a decoupage of jewelry and jewelry-making images.
The chair and dozens more unlike it decorated by other business owners or Ridgefield residents be auctioned off during Saturday's Summerfest. Visitors to downtown Ridgefield from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. can see the chairs and join on the silent auction.
The Summerfest includes children's games, music and a variety of vendors.
