Decorated Chairs Taking Center Stage For Summer Fest

Meredith Mulhearn delivered Eat Well Ridgefield's decorated Adirondack chair to the Ridgefield Chamber of Commerce Wednesday morning. Many others were delivered already, and dozens more are expected.

Mulhearn's chair is one of more than 100 that will be displayed along Bailey Avenue during Summer Fest from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.

Mulhearn's new business venture, Eat Well Ridgefield, works with local restaurant chefs to make menu items mindfully healthy with organic whole foods and healthy oils.

"Clients are finding themselves frustrated when they go put to eat," Mulhearn said. What they want is healthful eating. "They're staying home."

Visitors to Main Street Saturday will find music at Town Hall, activities for children behind Town Hall, and the silent auction for the decorated chairs displayed along Bailey Avenue.
