Watershed Gallery Celebrates it First Year

Watershed Gallery will hold an anniversary party at 8pm on Saturday, November 9th, to commemorate their first year of business and to thank the people of Ridgefield for their overwhelming support.

During the event, the winner of the “Altered Book Art Book” will be selected.  The book was assembled from artwork created during the Fall in Love with Ridgefield festival.  Members of the community used pages from unwanted and discarded books to make more than 50 original paintings, drawings and mixed media works.

This community art project was a partnership between Watershed Gallery and the Friends of the Ridgefield Library, and the book is currently on display in the gallery.  Raffle tickets may be purchased for $5 each, and will benefit the new library.
