St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, 351 Main St., has announced its schedule for Christmas services beginning Sunday, Dec. 23, through Christmas Day. The parish and its rector, the Rev. Whitney Altopp, welcome the public to attend.
December 23
8 am Fourth Sunday in Advent, Rite II worship
10 am Christmas Pageant with communion followed by St. Nicholas Brunch
December 24
4 pm Simplified Rite II Eucharist with youth musicians: Ideal for the young who have been in worship rarely, if ever
8 pm Traditional Rite II Eucharist with choir: Ideal for those who value the traditions associated with Christmas worship
10:30 pm Carols and Anthems
11 pm Christmas Lessons and Carols with Holy Communion: Ideal for those who like the rich heritage of the Christian faith, bringing us into the earliest minutes of Christmas Day.
December 25
10 am Festal Rite II Eucharist, family-friendly: Kids wear their pajamas and bring their favorite gift! No ironing necessary, hair brushing optional.
