Local Chiropractor Completes Specialized Certification

Family Wellness Training Promotes Holistic Approach

November 16th, 2012 – Ridgefield, CT – Local chiropractor Dr. Mara Tabares has completed her 180-hour certification with the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association; she specializes in pregnancy and pediatrics, with over 13 years’ experience caring for a variety of childhood challenges.

“It was important for me to complete this certification because I wanted to help parents make the best-informed decisions they could about the care of their families. There is a world of wonderful health out there that is non-invasive, safe, easy and promotes living life to its fullest. I have seen so many children who are sick, on drugs and getting worse. I knew there was another way and I wanted to know as much as I could about it so that I could really help the families that come to me,” says Dr. Tabares.

The ICPA certification classes are taught by the leading authorities in chiropractic family wellness today. Special emphasis is placed on practical information as well as cutting edge techniques so that attendees can return to their offices and implement what they have learned to positively impact their communities immediately.

Dr. Tabares lives in Ridgefield with her two young sons, Manu and Alex.

Dr. Tabares is currently accepting new patients in her office located at 94 Locust Avenue, Danbury in the CT Childbirth & Women’s Center in Danbury; for more information, please visit http://www.drmaratabares.com/

No money for the classrooms? A shame. Ridgefield's BOE just donated $25,000 of taxpayer money toRead More yet another artificial turf field. Gee, that works out to about $480 per classroom - exactly what the teachers have to spend out of their pockets on YOUR kids. Lesson: Money for sports? Yes. Money for the classroom. No.
