Come Together For Newtown Memorial Concert

Mike Drogalis and Melody Curran of Ridgfield, along with Doug Bogan and Mario Baggio of Wilton, are working to organize a concert, Come Together For Newtown, to benefit Newtown families affected by the Sandy Hook shooting. The show, sponsored by The Wilton Family YMCA, and is sure to be a night of fantastic music. "Come Together For Newtown" is set to have 10 musical acts, including Ridgefield bands "This Week," "Drew Arcoleo," "Currents," and "The Distractions." The show will also feature musicians from around Connecticut (including two from Newtown,) Pennsylvania, and Vermont. This event is a great opportunity for those who have been looking for a way to help to do so, while supporting local music. 

Come Together For Newtown will take place on January 4th at Tuxedo Junction, 2 Ives Street, Danbury, CT. Doors will open at 5:00pm and The show will run from 5:30pm-11:00pm. Tickets are $10.00 and can be purchased at the door. All Proceeds will go to affected Newtown families through The Newtown Scholarship Association.

I mean look at the man. Ten years before he was President he was sitting on a bar stool doing nothing with his life. Now after his Presidency, he's an artist painting pictures of himself in the shower. Gimme a break. Through some fluke of nature, somewhere in between there he became President of the United States. You couldn't make this stuff up, but that doesn't make it any less embarrassing. Thank goodness Obama came along and gave America some dignity.
