Three Young Boys in Need of Homes (Under 2 Years old)-Would Be Great for the Holidays!

Baxter

This handsome young guy just appeared in someone’s yard, crying for food. When he didn't leave, she took him in and called us for help.
Baxter is probably around one year old, if that, and is as sweet as he is stunning! He loves to cuddle, be held, play. He has a gorgeous light grey and buff colored soft coat and likes to chat with his humans!
Baxter has been neutered, vaccinated and tested and is now ready for a loving home to call his own. He's a great cat that would be perfect in any household, as long as you have the time to love and play! Animals In Distress is a no-kill Cat Shelter located at 238 Danbury Road. We are open on Saturdays 1:00pm - 4:00pm or during the week by appointment. Email kittiesforkeeps@gmail.com or call 203-762-2006

Cody

Cody had been adopted as a baby and given to a family member as a gift. Sadly, as is often the case, the family member really wasn't able to give Cody the best possible care. So he came to live with another family member. Unfortunately the resident cat was having no part of a new cat in the house, so, Cody is now searching for a stable, permanent home.
Cody is just a year and a half old. He is sweet and gentle and would be most happy curled up in bed with you purring you to sleep. He is a little overwhelmed by all the cats at the shelter, but he is adjusting. He would love it if someone would hurry up and fall in love with him and take him home. He has lots of play in him but is past the tiny kitten craziness. He is a beautiful young guy who deserves to spend his youth with a loving family.
Please come meet Cody. He's eager to meet YOU!

George

George is yet another pet left behind when his owners moved.
Left behind OUTSIDE and not neutered. Obviously not the most caring home. Lucky for him a neighbor kept seeing him outside and got him to our shelter.

This guy is such a lovely, mellow young cat it's hard to understand why someone just abandoned him. I guess he grew out of being a cute little kitten they just "had to have" and they no longer wanted him. Very sad.

But, good for George that he is now neutered and ready for a family that will promise to give him a forever home. He's such a sweetie he will make someone very happy indeed! Don't waste time, come meet George and offer him that wonderful home!
