League hosts “Speak Up, Ridgefield”
The Ridgefield League of Women will hosts its second annual event called, Speak Up, Ridgefield, on Saturday, Feb 4th at the Ridgefield Library Dayton Program Room from 1PM to 3PM. It will be an open question-and-answer forum that gives Ridgefield residents a chance to meet Town officials in an informal atmosphere and ask them questions on any topic—taxes, recreation, schools, land use- anything that relates to Ridgefield.
The League sent out invitations to town Department Heads and elected and appointed officials. Ridgefield’s First Selectman, Fire Chief, Superintendent of Schools, Director of Parks and Recreation, the Library Director, and representatives from the Boards of Selectman, Education, Finance and the Planning and Zoning Commission are invited to meet with town residents. This is your opportunity to ask questions that you never had a chance to ask and learn everything you wanted to know about Ridgefield. Light refreshments will be served.
This event is free and open to the public. For information, please contact Birgitta Stone at inforlwv@gmail.com or call 203-438-9896.
