Your child (ages 7-12 years) can try competitive swimming for the first time or continue to grow as a competitive swimmer with our coed team. This program is held on Sundays in Barlow Mountain pool and culminates in a intra-squad meet. Swimmers should wear competitive suits. Goggles and caps are recommended, but not required. Your child must swim at Red Cross Level 5 or higher or attend a tryout by January 8. Please call to make a tryout appointment.

More About Barlow Mountain Elementary School
Barlow Mountain Elementary School is one of the six elementary schools in Ridgefield. The school, which serves about 430 students in pre-K through fifth grade, sits on a campus adjoining Scotland Elementary School. A major building renovation was completed in 2003.
The school teaches using the Responsive Classroom program, which integrates social skills with academics and encourages students to take an active role in their learning.
The principal of Barlow Mountain is Rebecca Pembrook.
