Surpassing the record held by The Supremes, Wilson Phillips was declared best-selling female group of all time by Billboard in 1992. Chynna Phillips, daughter of Michelle and John Phillips of The Mamas & the Papas, and Carnie and Wendy Wilson, daughters of Beach Boy Brian Wilson, exploded on the music scene with three #1 hit singles from their 1990 debut album (Hold On, Release Me and You’re in Love). Their new album, scheduled for release in January, features covers of their parents’ music. It’s going to be a party up close and personal at the Playhouse!

Once the old Ridgefield High School, the Richard E. Venus Municipal Center is now the home of The Ridgefield Playhouse. The auditorium here was built in 1938 and restored in 2000.
