A school resource officer at Ridgefield High School reported a student was burning a paper towel dispenser in a boys bathroom earlier this month. The juvenile was arrested by Ridgefield police last Friday and returned to his father's custody. Norwalk police say a box Federal Express delivered to a woman’s apartment that was addressed to a stranger may explain why her door was kicked in Saturday, with only the box missing afterward. Police say that on Saturday night, a box addressed to "Jillian Willks,” which is not her name—sealed with tape labeled "Fragile”—was delivered to her home. Counterfeit Names and Bills Several people were arrested on larceny charges, one for using fake $100 bills and another for using a fake name, Trumbull police said. Police said a woman passed bills in Macy's at the Westfield Trumbull Mall. Fairfield police are investigating a claim of a suspicious man doing backflips in a resident’s backyard. The man was dressed from head-to-toe in gray sweats and was doing backflips in the marsh behind the resident’s property and then in the side yard. They had jewelry and money in the car, Trumbull police said.***New Canaan Police were called to New Norwalk Road about 7am on Dec. 3 when a passing motorist noticed damage to the roadside guard rail. A woman’s 2002 Jaguar XL disappeared Monday at Norwalk Hospital after she turned it over to a man posing as a valet parking attendant. The 81-year-old-woman, who told police that she drove her husband to the hospital for a medical emergency, said a man approached her and said her car was too nice to be parked in the regular lot.
