WILTON: "Sure, Dr. Richards....let's raise taxes next year so you can add another day to the calendar that cost the taxpayer money. Why don't you give Harpo and Zeppo Marx's birthdays off as well? ;-)" This was one Wilton Patch reader's response to news that a request by some Wilton parents to make Election Day a regular school day has been denied.

WILTON: "I don't want my leader clearing the roads, I want him/her directing a full staff of town employees to clear the roads, help the elderly, ride CL&P like a cheap pony, coordinate OEM, inform the public, get the police and fireman off their asses and show some [good] leadership for a change."
