• Free Sign Language workshop for kids

As part of the summer reading program, the Ridgefield Library is holding a sign language workshop on Thursday, July 21 from 10:30 to 11:30 in the Children's Program Room. The program explores American sign language through fun activities. • Presentation on songbirds including songs

Come hear naturalist and musician John Root who will present Songbirds of the Northeast at the Ridgefield Library on Tuesday, July 26 at 6:30 p.m. View and hear photographs and recordings of songbirds and learn how to recognize these birds by their songs and calls. Registration is not required.

• Seventh Annual Jeff Schwartz Memorial Softball Tournament

Register your men's softball team for this annual single-elimination tournament in memory of Jeff Schwartz, a longtime softball player in the Ridgefield men's league.
